Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Niyat Studio (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use Ryce.

Information you provide

Ryce lets you save recipes, create meal plans and grocery lists, set cooking preferences, and optionally submit text, links, photos, or voice input to create recipes. Those inputs may contain information you choose to include.

Information stored on your device

Your saved recipes, folders, meal plans, preferences, cooking history, and similar app settings are primarily stored locally on your device. Deleting the app may remove locally stored information.

Information processed by service providers

Ryce uses trusted providers to operate specific features:

• AI recipe features: text prompts, recipe links, photos, and voice-derived content are sent for processing when you ask Ryce to generate, import, or identify a recipe.
• Firebase: provides recipe and content delivery services, including cloud-hosted recipe data and images.
• RevenueCat and Apple: process subscriptions and restore purchases. We receive subscription status, not your full payment-card details.
• OneSignal: supports notifications if you grant permission. This may process a device or push-notification identifier.

These providers process information under their own privacy terms and only as needed to provide their services to Ryce.

How we use information

• Provide, personalize, and improve recipe, planning, and cooking features.
• Process requested AI features and display their results.
• Provide subscriptions, restore purchases, and manage feature access.
• Send reminders or service notifications when you opt in.
• Protect the app, investigate problems, and comply with legal obligations.

Sharing and sale of information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only with the service providers described above, when required by law, or when necessary to protect Ryce, its users, or the public.

Your choices

You can manage notification permission in iOS Settings, remove saved content in Ryce, and manage subscriptions through your Apple ID settings. To ask about access, deletion, or another privacy request, contact us at raghav@niyatstudio.com.

Children

Ryce is not directed to children under 13. Do not use Ryce if you are under 13 or provide us with personal information from a child under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Ryce evolves. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date.
